Upcrafted Chelsea Flap Bag

Pre-owned and now (re)loved, this Chelsea Flap Bag is a very special Coach upcrafted design inspired by our commitment to rethinking and reducing our impact on the planet. Saved from the landfill, this gently-worn bag was lovingly repaired and transformed by our in-house craftspeople who added clever details to give it a second life. It’s completely one-of-a-kind, and comes with its own unique set of charms. Wear it, love it, pass it on.

Reimagined with golden studs, grommets and layers of swingy fringe for rich dimension and playful movement by Rose Oliva, this flap-front style has been expertly cleaned, conditioned and restored. Our talented craftspeople Sergio Taveras, Antonio Hernandez and Yngrid Pichardo Baez applied knotted fringe with grommets along the sides, hand-decorated the front with a leather panel embellished with polished border rivets and added a playful repurposed charm. Crafted of rich, velvety suede, the modern Chelsea features. pockets inside and out and secures with a turnlock closure. Switch out the straps to wear on shoulder or crossbody.
