Upcrafted 1964 Fringe Bag

Pre-owned and now (re)loved, this 1964 Fringe Bag is a very special Coach upcrafted design inspired by our commitment to rethinking and reducing our impact on the planet. Saved from the landfill, this gently-worn bag was lovingly repaired and transformed by our in-house craftspeople who added clever details to give it a second life. It’s completely one-of-a-kind, and comes with its own unique set of charms. Wear it, love it, pass it on.

Reimagined by Savannah Sutton with striking rivet detailing featuring gleaming studs for a casual boho vibe, this effortlessly relaxed style has been expertly cleaned, conditioned and restored. Our talented craftsperson Jose Reyna hand-decorated the flap, sides and strap with a medley of polished hardware, replaced the long strap, then added a playful repurposed charm. Our Fringe bag is defined by our iconic turnlock closure and statement-making fringe trim. The velvety suede style features a spacious open compartment and outside slip pocket for easy access to essentials. Perfectly sized to meet festival and concert venue regulations, it’s finished with two detachable straps to carry by hand, style as a short shoulder bag or wear crossbody.
