Restored Lace Up Bootie

I have had my eye on this boot from the first time I saw it. I wanted it so bad but could not find my size. I finally called one of my favorite Coach store associates at Independence Center. KiKi thank you for going to extra mile to locate this boot for me. I have received it and all I can say is this picture online does not do this beauty any justice. I mean she is gorgeous. It can be worn with any outfit and bring flavor. I see it's almost sold out and I am so glad I got mine. This will NEVER go out of style. It is a unique beauty.

Well this pair of Coach Lace Up Booties are certainly very unique. I ordered them on sale in my usual size 6.5 and they arrived today, they fit perfectly and I love them even though they are definitely different. Im not sure what Im going to wear them with but they are definitely keepers.

What can I say? Wow. Wow, wow, wow. I have been stalking these boots on here for months as they were COMING SOON for what seemed like forever. (Maybe it was like, two months. Whatever. Seemed like ages.) The second I saw them I knew they were totally unique, totally my style, and looked comfortable, rugged, yet city-chic sophisticated. The second they were finally available, you better believe I clicked that order button. Which was broken. So then I called Coach customer service and ordered over the phone. They just arrived yesterday and they are BEAUTIFUL. The matte blue will make any outfit pop or add some ruggedness to an otherwise dainty vibe. They are comfortable and true to size. (I am always a 6.5 in Coach and these are no different.) Enough room to wear thin socks, tights, or socks a bit on the thicker side. The back also doesn't rub my heels as other boots might. My only con is the buckles. My legs are not stick thin, but they aren't big either. I would consider my legs to be average in size. Before opening the buckle, those buckles look like a chicken couldn't get its leg through. I struggled a lot to buckle them, but with a little persistence, they snapped closed. But it was a massive struggle. I spent a day wearing them around the house to stretch out the leather and it seems like that did the trick! They are a new favorite to my wardrobe. Knocked off one star simply because they are made for people with narrower legs, and this boot will certainly not buckle over everyone's calves. If you have bigger calves, I don't think this boot will work. You could, however, wear it with the buckle undone. After wearing them around, the strap has stretched a tiny bit, and I do believe the leather will loosen over time. But as stated previously, not wide-calves friendly. Also, the rubber smell overpowers any smell of leather if you enjoy that fresh Coach leather smell. I'm sure that will fade, but I was looking forward to that Coach leather smell. Just a little random side note. Anyway, with the holiday sale, I highly recommend these boots! Glad I got them.
