Meet Our Craftspeople

Alfred Deaza is a second-generation craftsperson who turns leather into thoughtful things. Outside of work, he races motorcycles for a change of pace.

Alfred is from the Dominican Republic.

Jose Reyna knows all about high-end craftmanship—thanks, in part, to over 25 years working with luxury goods. When he's not upcrafting beautiful things at Coach, he's applying his artisty to gardening at home.

Jose is from the Domican Republic.

Nicole Izquierdo joined Coach as an apprentice after graduating college with a degree in Accessory Design. On weekends, you might find her on a dance floor.

Nicole was born and raised in Puerto Rico.

Yngrid Pichardo-Baez has 15 years of experience in leathercraft. (It's part of why she's trusted to give old leather bags a new life.) Outside of work, you can find her socializing, cooking or dancing.

Yngrid is from the Domican Republic.

Griceidy Ciriaco appreciates the unexpected—namely, when the workshop doesn't have a pattern for a bag in need of repair. When that happens, she puts her vast knowledge of construction and patterns to the test.

Griceidy is from the Dominican Republic.

Antonio Hernandez welcomes a good challenge. He concentrates on leather prep—and loves seeing finished products once they're perfected.

Antonio is from the Domican Republic.

Kendry Almonte de Torres' artistic spirit makes her well-suited for painting Coach bags. Her favorite part: the delicate task of mixing paints to color-match.

Kendry was born in the Dominican Republic.

Freddy Leonardo is a born problem-solver who has mastered the art of bag repairs. (He even innovated new repair methods.) His one requirement: listening to music while he works. He's been at Coach for a total of over 25 years.

Freddy is from the Dominican Republic.

Paul Boghossian tackles prep and stitching—but over the course of two decades at Coach, he's worn many hats (and loved them all).

Paul is from Lebanon.

Eduardo Zhune has perfected his craft at Coach for over 40 years—and says that the work is one of the things he cherishes most in life. His favorite project? A widely celebrated patchwork jacket.

Eduardo hails from Ecuador.

Angel Penaloza loves to work with craftspeople who are new to our workshop. With about a decade of experience at Coach, he makes for the perfect mentor.

Angel is from Ecuador.

Manuel Gomez has done it all in his considerable time (over four decades!) at Coach—from repairs, binding and stitching to welting on bags and footwear.

Manuel is originally from Ecuador.

Sergio Taveras works on the repairs team. He's fascinated by the entire process of making leather goods, but has a special love for leather prep, stitching and painting.

Sergio is from the Dominican Republic.

Anibal Montero's second job ever was in production for Coach. He liked it so much, he stayed for over 40 years. Today, he focuses on repairs.

Anibal was born in Ecuador.

Macshella Oduro is a recent graduate of our craft apprenticeship program, learning about every side of leatherwork in every department of our workshop.

Macshella is from Queens, New York.

Trey Powel fashions parts from old bags into beautiful, newly Remade things. Considering his love of the arts—like painting, drawing and graphic design—it's a natural fit for him.

Trey is from the Bronx, New York.

Jose Lee's mother began working at Coach in 1970. Inspired, he joined in 1980, focusing on belts and accessories, and was followed by his siblings. Today, he's still at our workshop alongside his sister Ana—and still loves it.

Jose is from the Dominican Republic.

Alex Lodato learned the art of monogramming and customization when he was a stock associate at Coach. It sparked a fascination for leatherwork, inspiring him to join our craft apprentice program. Today, he's a full-time craftsperson—and does custom leatherwork in his spare time.

Alex was born and raised in New Jersey.

Meet Our Designers

Eunice Chang majored in Fashion Product Design, then joined Coach through an apprenticeship program. Today, her work for (Re)Loved combines two of her passions: design and sustainability. On the weekend, you might find her watching thriller movies and taking walks through Central Park.

Eunice was born and raised in Southern California.

Rose Oliva moved to New York City at age 18 with a dream of becoming a fashion designer. After working as an apprentice at Coach, she was able to realize it. Now—with a strong appreciation of Coach heritage—she designs and occasionally paints Coach (Re)Loved styles. In her downtime, you might find her gaming or doing yoga.

Rose is from Massachusetts.

Savannah Sutton was part of the first group of craft apprentices for Coach (Re)Loved. Afterwards, she made a switch to the design side. She loves seeing her Upcrafted and Remade designs being brought to life by the Special Projects team at the workshop. Her other passions include reading, traveling with friends and horror movies.

Savannah takes her name from her hometown: Savannah, Georgia.
