Classy lux jacket
Love this jacket. The leather smell is incredible and the thickness of the suede is very lux and not too thin. Very classy timeless styling. I agree with the other reviewer that this may be a better for fit for shorter people. I am 5'4" and the arms fit me great, so a taller person may find the arms too short. Also, I find the waist belt to be a fine but bordering bit on the high side (toward bottom of rib cage), so a very long waisted person may find the belt not fit at their waist. I like the plastic zipper construction as it works smoothly. I have other leather jackets with metal zippers and those can be difficult to zip. The Horse and carriage brass zipper pull is gorgeous! I cant wait to wear this timeless beauty now that it is Fall. I ordered an 8 when I wear a 6 or 4 in coach jackets because I wanted to wear sweaters or thicker turtle necks underneath. LOVE LOVE LOVE!

not made for tall people
I received this jacket as a gift. The color is true to the image posted online. This jacket is good almost all year round except for hot or very cold days.
There are 2 things worth mentioning. 1. I am petite (5'1') and the jacket fits me well both in sleeve length and body length. It would be too short for those who are tall. 2. The zipper under the flap is entirely plastic (both the teeth and the head). Only the zipper pull is metal with the carriage logo. I am surprised that Coach would use ALL-PLASTIC zippers on an expensive jacket like this one. I plan to get a lot of wear out of the jacket and really hope the zipper holds up. Other than the uncertainty of how long the zipper could last, I am satisfied and happy with this jacket.
